Breakfast changes daily at our Smokey Mountain bed and breakfast, but always begins with freshly-ground perked coffees and specially selected teas. There’s a variety of fresh juices, too.

You may be served one of these gourmet selections:

Homemade braided French toast topped with macerated strawberries, toasted almond slivers and a dusting of powdered sugar. A generous helping of honey baked ham. And for dessert, Baked Bananas alla Pizzelle.

Belgian waffles prepared with a berry topping and whipped maple cream. Maple-flavored breakfast sausages. And for dessert, a Breakfast Sundae Surprise!

Blueberry pecan buttermilk pancakes topped with sautéed apples in a ginger butter sauce. A side helping of perfectly-baked thick-sliced bacon. And for dessert, Baked Stuffed Pears Delight.

Eggs Neptune! A toasted croissant, thinly-sliced smoked salmon, poached egg, hollandaise sauce and topped with cooked baby shrimp and a pinch of dill. Decorated with asparagus spears. And for dessert, Peaches N’ Cream.

Shitake and havarti cheese omelet with peppered bacon and toasted croissant. And for dessert, Maple Syrup Bananas with Sour Cream and Strawberries.

Eggs Benedict! Our own variation: a toasted croissant, smoked pork loin, poached egg, hollandaise sauce and a pinch of paprika. Asparagus spears as a garnish. And for dessert, Baked Pineapple with Apricot Preserves.

Eggs any style, home fries, oven-baked peppered bacon, stone ground grits and homemade breads or biscuits. And for dessert, Sliced Melons and Grapes Compote.

Italian Country Breakfast. Frittata (omelet) filled with a variety of vegetables and three kinds of cheeses, sweet Italian sausages and homemade focaccia bread. A grilled slice of fresh tomato topped with mozzarella. And for dessert, Berries with Whipped Marscapone Cream.

Holiday Breakfast Buffet. Herbed scrambled eggs, honey-baked ham, homemade biscuits with sausage gravy, stone ground grits, New York bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Cold cereals. Raw apple muffins and a variety of pastries. And for dessert, Gourmet Fruit Medley.

Breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m., either indoors or outdoors (weather permitting). Choose from the breakfast nook (above), the dining room or the outdoor patio which overlooks the inn’s waterfall and has a view of the river.

For guests who need an early start, we offer a continental breakfast serving homemade breads and muffins, cereals, fruits, coffee, teas and juices.
